Holiday

Some of you may have read the orriginal version of this blog...

Sorry for the confusion. Strange enough, I will no longer be going to Melbourne for holiday and therefore the beginning of this blog did not make sense. The rest does though. . .

Things have slowed down again at school in some ways. We have started our new indigenous cultures class and I have gotten into the portrait section of my drawing class. I have learned so much about the Aboriginal culture in the past two weeks that can be applied to even my own life. The main theme that runs through their belief system is responsibility of action . . .of land, life, people . . .for them, everything is linked. What you do, effects everything else. If only everybody thought of taking care of each other in this way.

Not to cut my thoughts short or anything, but I actually have to go do some reading for that class now.

I have been meaning to write some random facts about Australia, so I think I will close with that.

Thank you so much for your prayers, support and letters!

  • Some of our favorite Actors and Actresses come from here...they do a pretty good job of hiding this fact! These are only a few of them. . .
